St Rocco’s Hospice are proud to be the headline charity for the Warrington Running Festival 2026.
St Rocco’s Hospice provides specialist care for people in Warrington who are living with a life-limiting illness. We help support the individual, as well as their loved ones, at what can be one of the most challenging times of their lives.
Many people don’t truly understand what a hospice is until they experience one themselves. We focus on living well, supporting patients physically, emotionally and psychologically, helping them to continue having the best quality of life, for as long as possible. We also help loved ones to simply be loved ones, without the constant worry of being a full time carer.
Our services include a 10 bed inpatient unit, our Palliative Virtual Ward, as well as our Vitality Centre where patients can receive physiotherapy and complementary therapies, such as massage and reiki. We also run our bereavement café’s, which offer a welcoming and safe space for people experiencing grief to connect with others who understand.
Our care is provided free of charge, and we rely on the generosity of our community to help raise £5 million each year to keep our services running. Without this support, we simply couldn’t keep our doors open

In return for one of our places, we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £30 for the fun run, £150 for the 10k and £200 for the half marathon.
