All race packs are to be collected from the event village on the morning of the event!

The event village opens at 7.45am. You are free to come collect your race packs from this point onward. However the ideal race pack collection times would be:

Marathon: 7.45am-8.30am
Half Marathon: 8:45am – 9:30am
10k: 9:15am – 10:00am
5k: 9:30am – 10:15am

It will take around 15 minutes to collect number and drop your bag off. The earlier you get there, the more efficient we will be on the day.

You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt. If you have your own pins then that would be great, but we will have supplies if needed.

Your timing chip will also be in the envelope, this needs to be attached to your shoe as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number and chip on at all times during the race. At the finish you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).

When you receive your race pack, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief Runner Information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency, and there are pens available at the registration desks.

Baggage

We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We have tear off baggage labels at the bottom of your race number that can be attached to your bag. To collect, all you have to do is hand over your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your belongings.

Refreshments

There will be a water station on every lap. There will also be a fuel station powered by GU Energy, with energy gels for you to grab on each lap if you need that extra boost!

You will also be able to grab your bottle of ACTIPH at the finish line. ACTIPH Water is the UK’s first alkaline ionised bottled water. Through a unique ionisation process, purified water and a blend of electrolytes are supercharged to create a smooth and clean tasting alkaline water with a pH of 9.0+.

Thank you to Popchips for donating some of their delicious products for you all to try after your race. Their Popchips are a healthier and lighter alternative to your usual crisp. To find out more, head over to their website HERE.

Toilets

There will be portaloos available within the event village.

During the race

The entire course is on the Motor Circuit itself.

The Miles for the Marathon and Half Marathon distances will be marked out with countdown signs of how many miles you have left until the finish. Marathon runners you will see signs counting down from 26 miles to 1 mile to go and Half Marathon runners you are looking for signs saying 13 miles to go down to 1 mile to go.

There will be green kilometer signs from 1-4 for the 5k and 1-9 for the 10k.

We will have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish.
