Goodwood Motor Circuit is a historic and world famous venue for both two- and four-wheeled motorsport in the UK.The 3.8 kilometres (2.4 mi) circuit is situated near Chichester, West Sussex, close to the south coast of England, on the estate of Goodwood House, and completely encircles Chichester/Goodwood Airport. Nestled at the foot of the Sussex Downs, with the sea often visible just a few miles in the distance, the track is the only classic circuit in the world to remain entirely in its original form, after being lovingly restored over a six-year period in preparation for the inaugural Goodwood Revival of 1998.
Goodwood’s motor racing circuit is a time capsule, preserved in its 1960s splendour by quirk of history and now revived for racing use once more thanks to its enthusiastic owner, the Earl of March. The Goodwood Estate is now home to the world famous Annual Festival of speed and The unique Goodwood Revival which both see hundreds of thousands of car fanatics from around the world visiting the Estate.
The nearest railway station is at Chichester, from where a taxi will take you to the circuit. National Express coach services also serve Chichester.
